Course outcomes:

  •         More time
  •         Less regret
  •         More confidence
  •         Less time wasted guessing what other people are thinking

This course is designed to support you to stop hustling so hard and how to create more ease in your days.

This course is for you if you've ever thought:

"I don't have time"

"There are not enough hours in the day"

"I just need to finish this one thing, and then I can go for a wee"

When was the last time you truly felt rested?

🤔 Do you spin from over-commitment to burnout?

🤔 And then do it all again, knowing that you're going to hit a wall and make yourself ill?

🤔 Do you miss having energy for the things you love?

🤔 Does it feel like this is just the way things are and there is nothing you can do about it?

Does this sound like you?

Tired of being tired?

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • "I can't keep going like this"

  • "I just can't seem to switch off"

  • "I am exhausted but I cancelled on them last time"

Pull up a pew, friend; we need to talk

You deserve better.

If you keep thinking you need a break

You probably do

Even if you don't believe it could be possible for you right now, you can take some steps which help support you.

Navigating our needs is tough, especially in a culture which promotes and glorifies burnout.

Especially when the bills still need to be paid.

Especially when your friends are saying you don't have time for them.

Especially when relationships feels strained because there is just not enough of you to go around.

If this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

This course is  designed to get you out of survival mode and back to a place of confidence and joy.

Do you just need more hours in the day?

But even if you had them, there would still not be enough time for you to actually get to relax?

...Or maybe you feel like the to-do list is more like the book you don't have time to write.

...Or maybe you've been having to do all the stuff so long you cannot even imagine what relaxation looks like.

  • And then there is the dishes
  • and the whattsapp notifications
  • and that mate who you have had to cancel on twice already
  • and the family stuff
  • and the life admin
  • and aren't your houseplants looking a bit neglected
  • and  when someone asks you if you've been warching that latest series on TV it makes you want to explode?

If you're anything like me, there just always seems to be some more things to be done.  I always used to find it really tough to slow down (let alone stop) because it just made me worried about how much more I would l have to do tomorrow.

It. Is. Exhausting.

You deserve better.

You deserve a life where you get to focus on yourself and not be a human to-do list.

If you just want a break

We're going to need to try something fresh

So that you have more time (and energy) to do all the way more important stuff in life.
Like reading books, and learning to master the perfect apple crumble or having lie ins or writing that book or hanging with friends or turning your phone off and deciding you want to quit your job and become a rock climber or a learn flamenco dancing or audition for a role as an usher the the West End or plan how to dismantle the patriarchy. The opportunities become endless.
A black person sits under an oak tree at sunset

When someone says you need a rest do you immediately think of a load of 'What ifs'?

And even when you do get a break, you cram it full of things you just need to get done?

Most of us are so over-stretched that we do not even know what to do with ourselves if we have some spare time. And quite often we find ourselves at the bottom of a bottle of wine or 2 hours into instagram and wondering where the evening went.

Who am I?

Hi, I'm Anna, also known as HeardinLondon

I'm Anna, a mindset coach, empowerment photographer, feminist, Buddhist and circus expert with a strong focus on social justice and how to find creative solutions to help people reclaim their bodies and minds. I am a confidence coach for people who hate having their photograph taken. I believe by taking on the responsibility to do our own work, we resource ourselves to support more people. I have coached hundreds of people on their path back home to themselves. I am on a fierce mission to equip people with the mindset tools they need to break through their own self-sabotage and live their wildest dreams. I think we all need that. And so I trained in it so more people can build their own toolkit. And I don't think we should all magically know how to manage our minds, if no one ever teaches us.

This is about overcoming overwork and overwhelm

Because you are not here to be a human doing

Most of us believe we just need a bit more time

But when we get it, it seems to disappear

This is often because we immediately try and distract ourselves from anything which might feel uncomfortable (like thoughts of "What the hell am I doing?"). When we are constantly trying to get away from our emotions, our brain think we are not listening, so it tries to get louder. And it's a vicious circle.
A Lebanese woman sits on a swing

If you cannot imagine what a free day would feel like

How about 5 minutes? Sometimes breaking things into small manageable chunks is how we make progress. This is what we do here.

If you have long list of "I have to..."s and "yeah but..."s

You are also probably shattered.

It is not that you are wrong. Or I am not acknowledging what you have to get through, I am just guessing it probably does not feel very good. And my wish for you is that you don't have to drag yourself through the day. My wish is for you to try something which may offer you some alternative approaches.
A dual heritage woman with layers of necklaces standing in front of a lake

This absolutely used to be me.

I had zero trust that I was not about to mess up all the things, so I kept over-committing in the hope that I would get at least one thing right.

This was until someone introduced me to a groundbreaking approach, reshaping my entire work / life balance. Its impact was so profound that I trained to teach this methodology, aiming to share its power with as many individuals as possible.

What if you could learn how to:

  • ☀️ Stop saying yes when you are already maxed out?

  • ☀️ Stop spreading yourself so thin?

  • ☀️ Ignoring your own needs because you are worried about upsetting people?

  • ☀️ Allow yourself time to work out what relaxing feels like for you?

If your life looks something like this

Some tips to help you rebalance things might be really useful
venn diagram of unbalanced work life

This is a course about is about how to prevent burnout.

It is about how to stop ignoring yourself.

It is about how to stop feeling so overwhelmed we never have time for ourselves. It is about how to stop over-compensating because we are worried about what other people will think. How much time do you spend thinking there is no point asking, or it so much hassle, you might as well just do it yourself anyway? And how much more energy would you have without the stress of second-guessing every interaction?
A brown skin woman with grey hair and an orange scarf around her neck

When we have more mental energy

We are less likely to spiral in self-doubt.

When you are exhausted it is so much more difficult to see things clearly. When you remove the distractions you have more energy to direct towards the bits of life that actually light you up. Maybe it is your friends, or being creative, or exploring or reading more - but you get to be more you. And with this comes confidence. And frankly, everything is a bit more fun.

We work on

🌟 The reasons we constantly feel drained (spoiler: it's not your fault)

🌟 Why we  keep pushing past our limits (spoiler: it's not your fault)

🌟 Managing energy and priorities (spoiler: it's not your fault)

🌟 Techniques to maintain balance and avoid burnout (spoiler: even if it feels overwhelming now, it's not your fault)

Imagine a world where you can:

✨  Rest without feeling guilty

✨ Extend the same patience to yourself as you do to others

✨ Set boundaries and stick to them in everyday life

✨ No longer exhaust yourself trying to be everything for everyone

Rest is hard

Especially when we tell ourselves we are slacking

Telling ourselves we should be on the go the whole time is stressful. And not how mammals were designed (yes, that's us, by the way). Always needing to be doing keeps us stressed, and stress stops us getting creative and stops us thinking straight, and ironically stops us sleeping (which always makes everything more difficult) And it is habit forming. The more we do it, the more it becomes familiar. Breaking the pattern is a choice. And that decision is one that earns you more ease.
A brown skin woman with shoulder length hair and an green shirt holds a monstera leaf and a pink flower

And it is not just work which makes us tired.

Spending time worrying about what other people think is also exhausting.

I got tired of feeling guilty every time I wanted to ask for support, or fearing confidence in case I come across as selfish or arrogant, and trying to hide all of this under a pile of Doing Too Much for other people. I was an expert at it. And if I can trans form this, so can you.

If you have been looking for the "How?"

you're in the right place.

I teach a results-driven approach which you can apply to any area of your life.

We'll embark on a journey to:

🌱  Understand the root causes of your stress

🌱  Identify patterns that lead to burnout and master strategies to break the cycle

🌱 Cultivate energy management skills to empower you in maintaining well-being

🌱  Work how to talk to ourselves when we think we "should have known better" (hint: those feelings aren't rooted in truth - and I'll show you why) (psst: they're not true - and I'll show you how I know)

In this course, we'll learn a framework which nurtures your well-being and promotes balance in life. You'll learn to recognise your energy drains, gain a deeper understanding of your boundaries, and determine when to recharge and when to push forward.

Many of us feel like we need to have done everything perfectly before we deserve a break.

Or kindness.

Or a partner.

Or to go to the park.

Or

Or

Or

It's endless.
